Top tip: Always make sure the blades are set to 'on-cut' before mowing (the top and bottom blades just touch like a pair of scissors).  Too tight and it will be difficult to push and will wear the blades more.  Too loose and it won't cut. Just right and you will achieve a perfect scissor-like cut with this affordable mower.  Worth spending a minute to do before each mow.
